Dane grew up in real estate with his family who were avid investors who understood the solid value and inherent potential of real estate. Besides home, there were rentals, commercial properties, malls, and various other investments. There was an ongoing discussion among his family as to whether the famous quote originally came from Dane’s great-grand-father or the ubiquitous author Mark Twain, “Buy land, they’re not making it any more.” But in any event, they all understood that it was true, no matter who said it first.
Throughout his life, Dane has invested in and advised friends and colleagues in their real estate investments… it’s always been in his blood.
Dane pursued a successful career as a marketing executive, garnering many accomplishments, accolades and awards, including two AMYs, the top award of the American Marketing Association. Eventually the legendary words of his forefathers came home to roost, and he returned to his roots in real estate.
As a Realtor®, Dane brings his understanding of properties and property values and his expertise in marketing to help portray properties to their fullest potential, and his considerable real estate knowledge and experience as a negotiator to buyers to ensure the best possible deal.
Dane’s knowledge and expertise ranges county-wide, with particular emphasis in his home-turf of Renaissance La Jolla, the Golden Triangle, La Jolla Colony, Hillcrest, Mission Hills, North Park and the surrounding areas.
He loves traveling, skiing, SCUBA diving and bicycling, and enjoys spending time at home cooking and entertaining family and friends.
